Strider is finally here! I flew out to Abbottsford, BC this past weekend to meet Sandra (our breeder) and pick him up. We then flew back home where Aerya & Derek met us at the airport. I'd been gone for one night, which I haven't done since Aerya was born, and so Aerya was really excited to see me. Or so I thought. She started waving and calling for me but when Derek put her down to run to me she darted around me and went for Strider instead!
Everyone is doing great together. Even the cats seem to like him! We're now slowly adapting to the 'dog lifestyle' which is not that hard with a fabulous pooch like Strider. He is so lovey and cuddly, obedient and fun. We have to say many kudos to Sandra and the whole family at Dark Star Cavaliers. She was so awesome with the whole process of getting Strider. I could not have been happy and more satisfied with it. www.darkstarcavaliers.us

ReplyDeleteI was a little leery about getting a small dog. Now that we have Strider, I realize he's the puppy I've always wanted. Fun-loving and playful when you want him to be, but also more than happy to sit with you on the couch! Plus his full name "Darkstar Strider" (the breeder named him) is a great Jedi name!
