H1N1 Flu hits the Mitchell Household.

We have all been struck by the swine flu (what a great name.)

Derek has definately been hit the worst, but I was expecting it as he gets EVERYTHING that goes through the school.

It's horrible with aches, pains, sore throat and coughing. The worst part is that after holding out for 5 days, Aerya finally succombed to it's ravages.





As with all children, it's hard to get her to eat when she's feeling so poorly so we've gotten her anything we thought she might consume.

Beside her is her endless box of kleenex, a bowl of vegetables, water in her special Hawaii cup, and a whole box of white donuts (she wouldn't put just a couple on a plate.) And you can see her elation at the prospect of a box of dilly bars. Now, if only she'd eat some of it!

Happy Halloween!

Aerya certainly got good use out of her costume this year! She wore it to gymnastics, school and then on Halloween night.

She was so excited for Halloween! She knew which night it was, but each day she'd ask a couple of times if she could get dressed up and go trick or treating.

Unfortunately, Derek & I have the flu so we could not go out with her, but Chad & Christine took her trick or treating and she came home just bouncing off the walls with fun and excitement.

And in fine Huggatt tradition, the animals get in on the holiday fun as well! Though you can tell just what Meux thought about that.
