Aerya at Nine Months

The busyness continues this month with strollersize and aquasize, but our library laptime is over. Aerya loves crawling over to visit the other babies at the end of strollersize, and she just hangs out and sometimes splashes at aquasize.

Aerya is starting to say words, but not at the appropriate object. Dada could be a toy, the window, or the remote, and Mama is anything that moves, or doesn’t! There’s also baba and mmm, which usually does happen with food. Aerya said her first word (mom) and uses it to get my attention. She also signs milk when she wants to nurse.

Some of the cute things she does is to mimic sounds like blowing raspberries and coughing. She also took her first steps and is walking, albeit a little shakily at first.

Aerya got two new teeth this month, the front tooth on the top left side and on the top right side.
